OUR FIRST CHAPTER: AVIATION · RV-9 CONCEPT IN DEVELOPMENT

A FAMILY AIRCRAFT. A NEW CHAPTER.

Keep the story
in your hands.

Some machines become part of the family.
We’re creating a miniature worth building, sharing, and keeping—starting with our family’s RV-9.

FOR THE LOVE OF THE BUILD.

More than a model.
A little of your story.

A familiar silhouette. Time spent in the hangar. The satisfaction of making something with your own hands.

Kivron began with our family’s RV-9 and a simple idea: bring the meaning of a real aircraft to a model you can print, assemble, and paint yourself.

We’re starting with the RV community—builders, pilots, and the families who know what these airplanes mean. Your experience will help us make the first miniature better.

A familiar shape.
A personal project.

Our first planned miniature celebrates the RV-9 taildragger. Explore three visual finish studies while we develop and test the real build.

What’s taking shape

A buildable RV-9 miniature with conventional landing gear: two main wheels and a small rear tailwheel. The first commercial focus is printable files and an unpainted kit.

01 / PRINT IT YOURSELFIn development

The digital design

For enthusiasts who already have access to a compatible 3D printer.

  • Planned: versioned model files and personal-use license
  • Planned: tested print settings and build guidance
  • No printer, physical parts, paint, or tools

Print files and compatibility must pass validation before release.

I’d like to print my own ↗
02 / MAKE IT YOUR OWNIn development

The unpainted kit

The pleasure of assembly and finishing, without learning to print.

  • Planned: preprinted model parts
  • Planned: a checked assembly guide
  • Paint, adhesives, tools, and exact contents to be confirmed

Physical samples, packaging, and delivery capacity come first.

I’d like to build a kit ↗
03 / START A NEW HOBBYPlanned

The complete build

Our longer-term goal: a path from a new printer to a personal keepsake.

  • Planned: a selected printer, design, and physical kit
  • Printer and fulfillment partner to be selected
  • Warranty, supplies, and support boundaries to be confirmed

Supplier fulfillment is the preferred path under evaluation.

Keep me posted on the package ↗
04 / A MEANINGFUL GIFTFuture exploration

A personal edition

A future finished model inspired by an aircraft and the person behind it.

  • Exploring finished and personalized models
  • Paint scheme and reference rights must be approved
  • No commission slots or delivery promises yet

Depends on validated designs, samples, and finishing capacity.

A little patience.
A lot of pride.

We’re developing a build that makes the process as rewarding as the finished model. Here’s the intended journey.

01

Start with confidence.

Choose a kit, or print the validated test coupon on a supported setup before committing to a full model. Files and printer requirements are still in development.

02

Bring it together.

Assemble the aircraft with a step-by-step guide. We’re evaluating joints, delicate parts, and clear instructions with prototype builders.

03

Make it personal.

Paint, finish, and display a project with a story behind it. Final materials, finishing advice, and replacement-part policies will be published before sale.

GOOD TO KNOW

A few things
you may be wondering.

Can I order a model today?

Not yet. We are developing and validating the first RV-9. The interest list is free and is not a preorder. No final price or delivery date has been approved.

Do I need a 3D printer?

Only for the planned digital design path. The unpainted kit is intended for people who want to assemble and paint without printing. A complete printer-and-kit package is also being evaluated.

Are these photographs of a finished product?

No. Every aircraft image shown here is an AI-assisted concept. We will share real prototypes and unfinished parts as they become available. The images do not establish materials, dimensions, or manufacturing quality.

Will it be made in the USA?

Manufacturing locations and suppliers have not been selected or verified. We know origin matters, and we will describe it accurately once the production process is confirmed. We make no Made in USA claim at this stage.

Can you reproduce my aircraft’s paint scheme?

Personalized editions are a future exploration. Any use of photographs, registration markings, or paint schemes will require appropriate permissions. Please do not submit private photographs through the inquiry form.

Is Kivron affiliated with Van’s Aircraft?

No. Kivron is an independent brand of 611 Tropico Holdings LLC. Aircraft names identify the design inspiration; no endorsement, license, or affiliation is claimed.

What support will be available?

Assembly support, printer compatibility, replacement parts, and supplier warranty handoff will be defined before sale. For questions, contact [email protected]. Products and paid preorders are not available yet.

Is this a toy or an aircraft component?

The planned product is a miniature for display and hobby building. It is not an airworthy component. Age suitability and product safety information remain to be validated before sale.

Know an RV
inside and out?

We’d like to hear what a worthwhile model would get right—from the landing gear and wing joints to the instructions and painting experience.

Prototype builders, including people new to 3D printing, can express interest here. Participation and test details will be agreed separately.
